Terms and Conditions

welcy is a personal finance tracking application that lets you record, monitor, and organise assets, insurance policies, fixed deposits, liabilities, and financial goals. The Service is provided for informational and organisational purposes only and does not constitute financial, investment, legal, or tax advice.

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a legally binding agreement to use welcy. By creating an account you represent that you meet these requirements.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@welcy.app if you suspect unauthorised access.

welcy offers a free tier and paid Pro and Family plans billed monthly. Payments are processed by Paddle (our Merchant of Record). By subscribing you authorise Paddle to charge your chosen payment method on a recurring basis at the rates published on our Pricing page. Paddle’s own terms of service also apply to payment processing.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the next billing date. You may cancel at any time through the billing portal accessible from Settings.

Please refer to our Refund Policy for information about refunds. Refund requests are handled by Paddle as the Merchant of Record.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service.
• Upload malicious code or interfere with the Service’s operation.
• Resell or redistribute access to the Service without prior written consent.

All content, branding, and code comprising the Service are the property of welcy or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes.

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, welcy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct we determine to be harmful to the Service or other users. You may delete your account at any time via Settings.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will notify you of material changes by email or an in-app banner.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Sri Lanka, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
